Thank You!
The 12th annual Peachland World of Wheels Show and Shine on Sunday May 17th 2009 was a huge, fantastic event.
It was successful because of the hard work of many people.
The World of Wheels board of directors wishes to thank the following people for contributing to the success of the 2009 show:
- All the hard working volunteers.
- Our wonderful sponsors.
- The estimated 10,000 people who attended the show.
- Vick Loney and his crew from the District of Peachland.
- RCMP from the District of West Kelowna.
- Scott Dawson from the Ponderosa Golf Course for supplying golf carts for the volunteers.
- Peachland Fire and Rescue Service members.
- District of Peachland council and staff
A special thank you goes out to Kerry Martinson and crew for arranging and picking up the vintage 1908 Tudhope McIntyre from the Kelowna Museum. Thanks also to the Kelowna Museum for allowing us to display the rare, 100=year-old car for the World of Wheels.
